Fanuc Level 4
Advanced Teach Pendant Programming, Utilities, and Procedures
For students with 5+ years of experience working Fanuc robots. Students will review core robot skills, create and test cycle advanced program instructions and methods. This course covers advanced instructions and register math used in Vision, Palletizing, Racking and other advanced applications that require advanced programming methods, tool, and position offsets program instructions, register math and position register math, BG logic, I/O interconnect, Mixed logic, Advanced utilities: program shift, adjust, UTool and UFrame offset. Review of mastering techniques and robot image and standard backup robot recovery.
TOPICS COVERED IN FANUC LEVEL 4 COURSE
- Register Math; used in Vision, Stacking, De-stacking, and palletizing applications to offset positional data
- Mixed Logic: Instructions allow for faster programming by allowing complex math and logic functions in one instruction
- BG Logic: Back Ground Logic can be implemented to perform functions outside of the core program thread the robot is running. This allows for checking of conditions and making immediate decisions to prevent operators from making errors
- Arguments: reduce the number of instructions and programs used, by initiating dynamic change to functions based on signals and system feedback information. s
- Skip conditions: are used in Search functions to make logical decisions based on machine status such as whether to search when parts are present, or when to stop searching when the stack is empty
- Error Recovery: covers methods used for automated recovery from minor cycle interruptions, robot crashes or errors. These methods when implemented reduce downtime by eliminating or minimizing human interaction.
- Multiple control: Is used in error recovery, system monitoring and downtime logging through TP programs, this allows for implementation of advanced features without having to call in programming experts
